2022 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, Rodgers Creek Vineyard, 93 points
A vividly flavored, well-balanced wine that neatly combines butter and ripe fruit elements with good acidity and freshness. Lemon zest, poached pears and subtle notes of hazelnuts and cream on the palate, followed by a lingering, vanilla bean finish. Medium-bodied. Drink or hold.
2022 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, Rodgers Creek Vineyard, 93 points
Deeply scented and perfumed with aromas of sour cherries, cedar and forest floor. The palate is tight and bright, with finely integrated tannins and acidity and lingering notes of red currants, grapefruit and dried herbs. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
2022 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Lindsay’s Vineyard, 92 points
A pale appearance suggests a soft and delicate pinot. Aromas of fresh red raspberries, orange blossoms and grapefruit on the nose. The palate is vibrant, framed with soft tannins, bright acid and delicate notes of red cherries, cassia bark and cedar.
