COMPOSITION
Our La Scala proprietary red blend shows off the versatility of great Napa Valley fruit. The varietal blend is 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4.5% Petite Sirah, and 0.5% Petit Verdot.
WINEMAKING
- Fruit harvested September – October 2023
- Fermentation Details: 3-day cold soak, 10-day primary fermentation, 13-day extended maceration, malolactic fermentation in barrels
- Aging: 22 months in 60% new & 40% neutral French oak barrels
- Alcohol: 14.5%

- Cabernet Sauvignon: Clone 337 on 101-14 Rootstock & Clone 47.1 on 039-16 Rootstock
- Merlot: Clone 181 on 101-14 Rootstock
